A Message From Rev. Curtis Webster

Welcome to First Presbyterian Church of Encino, the Community of New Possibilities.  We are a congregation eager to discover the new ways in which God is at work in the world, and to hear God’s call in a diverse and dynamic mission field.  We seek to express our Christian faith in tangible ways that touch our neighbors both here in the San Fernando Valley and around the world, so that the light of Christ’s love may shine for all.  We invite you to join us and discover how God is calling you to a life of faith and mission.  Come see us at our 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning worship service.  To learn more about our congregation, I invite you to call either our Associate Pastor, the Rev. Presbyterian Disaster Relief for the Midwest

 

Local and national Presbyterian disaster response officials are asking for prayers for those affected as well as financial and material contributions to the relief efforts.  Volunteers are also welcome.

Two accounts have been established to receive donations:  DR000162 (Disaster Response -- U.S. Storms 2008) or DR00001 (Disaster Response -- General).  Donation may be made online by credit card or by calling (800) 872-3283.  Checks payable to Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) may be sent directly to Presbyterian Church (U.S.A), Individual Remittance Processing, P.O. Box 643700, Pittsburgh, PA.

Responders are also asking for donations of "Clean-up Buckets", for the list of items which must be included in the buckets contact the Church Office, 818 788-1147.
